Dina Hestad is currently reading for her PhD at the University of Oxford’s Environmental Change Institute researching transformational adaptation to climate change. She holds a Masters of Environment from the University of Melbourne (where she focussed on climate finance in the Pacific) and a Bachelor in Human Geography from the University of Oslo. She has previously assisted the Government of the Republic of the Marshall Islands and worked for UNDP’s Program of Assistance to the Palestinian People with efforts relating to climate finance and adaptation. Dina has attended the UNFCCC climate negotiations since 2009 in various capacities, but mostly as a co-ordinator of youth educational delegations with the Australian organisation Global Voices. In her spare time she enjoys rowing, travelling, scuba diving and mountain hiking, especially when home in the beautiful fjords of Norway.
